Samuel, the Kingsburys’ second son is married to Hanna. After graduating from Appalachian State University with a degree in theater education, Sam worked at a few short-term jobs. Hanna, who holds an elementary education degree from the same institution, worked as a nursery school teacher while they applied and were approved as missionaries with AIM. They returned to Kenya to work at Rift Valley Academy (RVA) in late 2011. For several years, Sam ran the drama programme and taught several Social Studies classes, as well as helping the school with their technology needs, while Hanna taught 7^th & 8^th grade English. They are transitioning to being dorm parents as soon as RVA reopens from COVID lockdown, hopefully in the January 2021 term. They love having such influential input into students’ lives and are as active in daily school life as they can get.
